There has been many strange things happening in Wonderland.
Well, there are always strange things going on in Wonderland, but this time it doesn't feel like it usually does. Sure the Hatter, Hare, and Dormouse will be drinking tea and always singing songs about un-birthdays and the like. The animals near the beach will run there cacus race for no reason other then getting dry, then argue over who won the race. The Red Queen still yells about heads being chopped off. But over all this new trend of new things coming has put my poor tail into a bind.
Sure though it is nice to get new customers for cleaning chimnies. I've always enjoyed a sweeping out the dirt and soot that covered the fireplaces, when they weren't on fire of course, but the newest thing to pop up is this new forest to the east.
It's truely strange to think that there are now tiny fairies in the Wonderland now. They weren't there before. To be honest I don't even remember the forest being there either, but like everyone else they have chimmnies to clean and luckily for me I don't have to go down them to clean them. Usually I would stick my tongue out and that would be enough. Though one time one of the girl fairies got stuck on it, and there was a miss understanding from that. Poor thing lost her dress and ran off screaming. I've never known it was a problem for that to happen.
The next new thing I saw was the Ugly Duchess. Well at least she use to be ugly. It was odd to see her not in the same outfit she use to wear all buldging and her face all melted looking and such. Now it looks clean and healthy like the one girl who showed up that day...er what was her name? I think she had yellow looking hair, and a blue dresss.
Thats another new thing, I'm seeming to forget things now. Like the other day I had this strange broom that was just laying about my home for no reason! And for some reason it was covered in soot and dirt. I didn't understand why it was, I only had one broom used for cleaning....um...what did it clean?
Anyways the days seem to be getting longer now also. There be darker clouds upon the skies and things be changing more and more den I be thinking they were. Over time, I be seeing that there be more women coming to the Duchess's place now. She be gathering them for something dark it be seeing. I be no longer venturing out of me home as of late. I be brewing many thi'gs in a pot as of late. It be good fun to make things. I use many ingredients I've been finding in my travels through the swamp.
Swamp...that be a new thing too yah? I no be remembering such a thi'g as a swamp around me home before. It be strange to see it. What it be like I wonder, before the changes coming in the world of Wonderland? I once believe that this be a nice place once. I not be so sure anymore, man.
Dangerous places be coming through Wonderland now. Travelers who be dark and sinister. I be hearing from the rivers near me of terrible thi'gs that rose near the White Queens' castle. They said to be large worms coming out of the Crystal Lake devouring the folk near them.
Much be changing, but the one thi'g I needed to be checking on was the one job I knew was still there. So one day I be going to the White Rabbit to see if he be home. Perhaps he still be there when I get there.
